Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. General Terms

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and cancellations will be processed for online purchases of doctor consultation appointments made on our platform. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

2. Cancellation and Refund Scenarios

A. Cancellation by the Customer

  1. Cancellations Made Before 24 Hours of the Appointment:
    • Customers can cancel their appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund.
    • Refunds will be initiated within 5-7 business days of the cancellation request.
  2. Cancellations Made Within 24 Hours of the Appointment:
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be non-refundable.

B. Cancellation by Dr. Mickey Mehta’s Team

  • In case the appointment is cancelled by the doctor or our team due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to the customer.
  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days of the cancellation notification.

C. Payment Gateway Partner Cancellation

  • If the transaction is cancelled or fails due to issues with our payment gateway partner, the payment will either be:
    • Automatically reversed to the customer’s original payment method within 7-10 business days, or
    • In case the amount is not credited back automatically, customers are advised to contact us with the transaction ID for resolution.

D. Session Timeout or Payment Failure

  1. Session Timeout During Payment Process:
    • If the payment is incomplete due to session timeout, no amount will be deducted. Customers can retry the booking process.

  2. Payment Failure After Deduction:
    • In cases where the payment is deducted but the booking is not confirmed, a refund will be initiated automatically within 7-10 business days.
    • Customers are advised to retain the transaction ID for reference.

3. Scenarios Where Refunds Cannot Be Processed

  1. Appointments missed by the customer without prior cancellation.
  2. Cancellations are requested after the consultation has commenced.
  3. Payment disputes arising from third-party platforms not affiliated with Dr. Mickey Mehta.

4. Refund Processing and Timelines

  1. Refund Mode:

    • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking).

  2. Refund Timelines:

    • 3-5 business days for cancellations initiated by the brand.
    • 5-7 business days for customer-initiated cancellations (when eligible).
    • 7-10 business days for payment gateway or bank-related issues.

  3. Communication:

    • Customers will receive an email or SMS confirmation once the refund has been processed.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

  • To cancel or request a refund, customers must contact our support team at [contactdrmickeymehta@gmail.com] with the following details:
    • Appointment reference number
    • Transaction ID
    • Date and time of the appointment

6. Other Terms and Conditions

  1. Refunds will only be processed to the account or payment method used at the time of booking.
  2. Dr. Mickey Mehta reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Updates will be reflected on our platform.
